Dr. Mahmood H. Khichi MD FAAP MBA.

 

He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He also has MBA-Health care. He completed Pediatric Residency at Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Children’s Medical Center, Augusta, GA.

Dr. Khichi practiced General Pediatrics in New Mexico, USA from 1996 to 1999, and Pediatric Critical Care medicine in Oklahoma City, USA at Baptist INTEGRIS Hospital, a Regional Pediatric Liver Transplant Center from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010 He held the post of Senior Consultant and the Director of PICU at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar.

Dr Khichi has achieved several awards in his career including Fellow of AAP, Best Abstract Physician in Training award, Educational Scholarship award from SCCM, Preceptor recognition award from AAFP. He is also a PALS and ATLS provider. His research interests include ARDS, ventilator modes, inflammation and metabolic changes in DKA. He is a member of American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and American Institute of Physician Leadership.

Dr. Khichi is a Founding Member and Managing Partner of the Pediatric Intensivist group “Pediatric Intensivists of America”.

Dr. Khichi is married with 5 children and lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Apart from his professional activities, he also spends time in community organization.
